Back To School....

Some people would thing I am crazy that I get a little sad when summer ends and my kids have to o back to school. I truly miss my kids when school begins. Alec has started his second year at Wittenberg and Connor is now a seventh grader. God knew what he was doing when he blessed us with Maci. She keeps e pretty busy. We started working on ABCs and 123s.

Picking up Connor and listening to his first day adventure.
Hearing the alarm clock go off and wondering if summer could last just a little bit longer.

Shopping......

We all have been on a shopping trip that has made us say "What was I thinking?". Today was one of those days. It is days like today where we brush off the Little Things and come out laughing in the end.

Finding the perfect ottoman to go in our living room.
Maci screaming at the top of her lungs and being thankful that the elderly couple she scared did not suffer a medical mishap.
Maci dropping a glass mouse figurine and breaking it.....And her learning to be responsible and show it to the cashier and apologize.

Marriage.....

I truly have been blessed with a husband who loves me unconditionally. There are so many "little things" in our relationship that I often take for granted. What are your "little things" that you take for granted?

My Life....Motherhood.

I truly had a wonderful weekend. I enjoyed having all three of my children home. I love watching them grow. I love seeing each one of them paint their portraits of life. Each one of them is different and unique.

The Little Things.....

What makes your day a Wonderful Marvelous Day?  My days are always filled with Little Things that bless my life.  This 4th of July weekend is filled with so many blessings and today I had a wonderful marvelous day.

Long Weekends.....

One of my favorite Little Things is long weekends. Especially now that I look forward to having all three of my children home with me. I plan on enjoying all my Little Things that make me happy and make my life complete.

Fireworks, Snowcones, Cotton Candy, Parades, American Flag, Picnics, Family and Friends, Patriotic Music, American Veterans, Balloons, face painting, silly string, sparklers, freedom, glow sticks.

Amazing....

Isn't it amazing as we grow we end up laughing less. My challenge to you and to myself is to find the "Little Things" in your life that brings a smile to your face and laughter to your heart.
Last night my son Connor and his friend Jacob were on a website filled with jokes. Some were funny and others well I did not find the humor in them. But the point is we laughed.

Little Things......

Listening to jokes and laughing (even if they are not funny at all)

Watering my plants (this is a big thing for me considering I am well known as the lady who can kill a plant just by looking at it)

Seeing my flowers bloom and live (see above little thing)

Dragonflies and fat bumblebees.

The smell of fresh cut grass.

Birds singing in the morning.

Wind chimes.

Laughter.....

It always amazes me seeing things through my daughters eyes (she is 3) the excitement she has when she see things for the first time. I have to remember it is "The Little Things".

Watching a ant carry a small crumb, A flower blooming for the first time, Eating Watermelon, picking up a rock and saving it, ice cream, fuzzy craft pom poms, googly eyes.
